Terms

'Swordfrog -Illustrating History' is understood to be part of 'The Dream Loft'.  Ben Mears is a sole trader, trading as 'The Dream Loft'.

Conditions

Commissions

All commissions must be paid for upon satisfaction of received product or within thirty days after the point of invoice.  Failure to make payment will incur the retraction of copyrights over any imagery originally commissioned. A purchase order will be signed by all clients to confirm official commissions, agreeing to terms and conditions and to quoted costs and deadlines. Any deadline is deemed to be a target date by which any commission should be completed, though it is understood that delays due to the client will render any such deadline null and void without consequence to 'Swordfrog - Illustrating History' (part of The Dream Loft).

Payments

Payments for commissions are acceptable in the following formats: direct transfer (preferred), cheque or cash in the form of pounds sterling. Payments from overseas clients (ie. none UK residents) may be made via Paypal if so agreed, though this will incur a percentage charge in accordance with losses drawn by Paypal's takings.

Disputes

In the case of disputes arising over satisfaction or the outcome of commissioned imagery, it is understood that both parties will do there utmost to settle amicably and without court involvement.  Should this not be achievable any commission shall be deemed null and void, no charge taken or imagery used in any way, and 'Swordfrog - Illustrating History' shall not be held accountable for losses relating to failed production deadlines or any other losses.
