Historical Illustrations

Ben Mears is an illustrator with vast experience in creative imagery and design. He has an enthusiasm for producing enigmatic and evocative images which conjure a sense of time and place.

Many of his works stem from a passion for history and a particular interest in the Bronze Age, the Iron Age and the Medieval period stretching from early Saxon times to the Tudors.

Ben revels in historical research and also writes fictional stories set in the 5th Century AD.
